Save the Date for the Kanar Winter Feast!

The wait is over! We are thrilled to announce the upcoming Annual Kanar Winter Feast, a celebration of merriment, creativity, and camaraderie in the heart of our enchanted realm.

Date: February 10th, 2024

Venue: Camp Wathana in Holly, Michigan

This year, we're thrilled to unveil a brand-new venue, opening the gates to a world of enchantment and possibilities! In the spirit of embracing tradition, we're reintroducing the old ways—members are welcome to bring their own beverages, whether of the mystical or non-magical variety.

This venue also grants us the freedom to indulge in a feast without bounds, with fewer restrictions on the delectable treats you can bring for yourself or to share with your fellow adventurers.

Competitions!

Prepare to unleash your creativity and prowess at the competitions! Whether you're a master of Arts & Crafts, a mesmerizing Bard, a formidable Fighter, a cunning Rogue, or a wizard of Table Decorations, there's a stage for every adventurer to shine. The excitement is building, and the sign-up form is live. Join the competition, showcase your talents, and vie for glory!

The Artistry Competition

Entry Rules:

  • There will be three categories of entry: 2D, 3D, and domestic crafts.

  • There will be first, second, and third place winners for each category.

  • You may enter up to 3 items in any combination of categories.

  • A piece of work may not be entered into more than one category at a time.

  • If a piece of work could reasonably fit into two categories, the Artist must pick one to enter it into.

  • You may only receive a place once for each category.

  • Honorable mentions for each category will be considered.

  • You do not need to be versed in the craft in order to participate in the contest (do not need skills on your sheet)

  • The pieces submitted must have been started no earlier than 2021 and must be completed by the time of the Artist Tournament.

If you have any questions about entries, please direct them to Sir Korra Stonebrooke (Kay Bereczky - kbereczky1@gmail.com). We look forward to sharing your hard work and art.
