Kanar Feast 2019

Countess Kali put in a ton of hard work for these IG awards given out during court at feast!


NEW PLAYERS WELCOME! You don't have to of been to any other event to come and join fellow members in a celebration and feast!  

Ticket Information:

  • Tickets are $25.00 a person available for purchase now. Members who have paid for the full year of event dues ticket will be gratis for the 2019 Feast.

  • Tickets are available online and at the door, it is requested you purchase tickets in advance so we may have a more accurate head count for catering.

  • It is not required to pay the $20 yearly membership fee for the 2018 or 2019 Year to attend the 2019 Winter Feast.

  • Children who are 13 years old or younger will not be required to purchase a ticket to attend.

  • You can purchase tickets online.

NEED TO KNOW

  • No hard liquor allowed on premises

  • Bring your own feast Gear (Bowls for stew, plates, silverware, cups, etc)

  • If possible wear your 'courtly' garb

Musical Entertainment:

Menu:

  • Catered by What's Cooking Ann Arbor (served at 5:00 PM)

    • Bell's Two Hearted Beef Stew
      Cuts of beef lightly dredged in cornstarch and pan seared then slow cooked with whole grain mustard, honey, parsley, onions, soy sauce, and Michigan made Bells Two Hearted Ale. Served with roasted carrots and potatoes.

    • Sesame Sriracha Chicken (Gluten-Free)
      Boneless skinless chicken thighs slow baked w/ sesame, honey, rice vinegar, gluten-free soy sauce, and Sriracha.

    • Roasted Root Veggies (Vegetarian Dish)
      Tossed with parsley and thyme this mixture includes tiny potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, parsnips, and Brussels sprouts.

  • Potluck Style Dessert

  • All are welcome to bring additional food for their tables under the one condition. Each dish must come with an ingredients list.

Competitions / Tourney's

  • Most Beautiful Weapon Contest

    • Can not be store-bought or latex. It must be a boffer style. 5 silver per entry.

  • General Art Competition

    • Any medium, must not be store-bought, you must be the one to create it. 5 silver per entry.

  • Bardic organized by The Minstrel Rav’n (PM to sign up)

    • Performances may be songs, stories, poems, instruments, etc.

    • Entrants may be groups (max 3) or individuals.

  • Dessert Contest: Best Overall, and Wine Theme

    • You must include an ingredients list

    • There is no entry fee.

Announcements from the Countess

The Countess Kali is in search of citizens who deserve to be recognized. If there is someone (IG) who should be praised for their work and efforts please contact Jennifer so they may be applauded. It can be for anything from being the best newb wrangler, recognition for exemplary service in community moral, the one who always cleaned up after everyone, or more!
