Kanar Gaming Enterprises, Inc. is governed by five Directors elected by the members of KGE, Inc, generally referred too as the Board of Directors, the Board, or the BoD. The Board meets four (or more) times each year to create or modify business policies, approve departmental budgets, allocate funds to specific projects, and review business and game staff. The Board meetings are conducted under a modified and slimmed-down version of Robert's Rules of Order. Meeting can be fairly dry, lasting two to four hours. Occasionally a controversial issues will cause passions to run hot, but the Board always strives to conduct its business with cool professionalism. Board Meetings are open to members and non-members alike. Time permitting, there is a general discussion section at the end of each meeting in which attendees are invited to address their comments and concerns to the Board.
