12.31.20 - Winter Reminders

Hello everyone,

As the holidays have been super busy, I’m sure these few things have slipped your mind. So here are your friendly final call reminders!

  1. The vouchers for the Agelong XP are due today December 31st. If you would like your XP please get your payments in!

  2. The CBM is still accepting Resumes until January 9th. If you would like to be apart of the staff and you think you can do the job, get your resume in. The Board will be hiring for the position at the next board meeting on the 10th.

  3. Finally, submissions for the Shane Cantrell Sponsorship is still open until January 9th. This is in memory of the late Shane Cantrell, who was a long time member of Kanar. This sponsorship covers the cost of a season pass for 2 players per year, decided via essay application and selected by a committee of three. As a reminder, this does not cover the cost of the annual membership dues.

Anyone may apply for the sponsorship. Applications must submit a 750+ word essay describing the following three things:

  • How the club has benefited you during your time playing
  • How you are working to give back to the club
  • Why receiving a season pass at no cost would make a difference to you

Once the essay is received, The information will be passed onto the committee. The committee will then judge each essay on the three categories above, along with general readability, and provide a score.
