Weapon Making Playtest

03.02 - Weapon marking playtest

Hello Players Welcome to the 1026 Kanar year

The playmaster staff is going to be playtesting a new procedure of marking weapon materials this year.

As many of you may know, there are new materials dropping this year. With these new materials, items still need to be marked appropriately as the new material. The old way of marking materials was to use two different color bands of tape to identify the material (as seen per the chart in the rulebook).

The new playtest is going to implement one of two methods to mark weapons. A player may use tape on their weapon, with the material name written on the tape in letters that are easy to read; or players may take a white ribbon, write the material name in easy to read letters, and tie it to their weapon.

This playtest is so that players may have a diversity of options when marking weapons, while making room for the variety of new materials being dropped. If a weapon’s material currently exists in the rulebook, players may continue marking weapons the old way, while this playtest is ongoing, but weapon materials that don't have a specific color sequence still need to be marked.

As always, tag checks may occur at random. A player found not marking their weapons’ material appropriately will be found as not being in compliance with tag policy and their tags are subject to forfeit.
