01.07 - 2026 Feast Raffle
Greetings to the citizens of Novashan!
The 1026 Feast will be taking place on February 7 in Bannor Nogoth, hosted by the Protectorate of Brisbane. I would like to thank Senator Augustus and his peers for their generous efforts. I will be continuing the tradition of our annual feast raffle with prizes donated by our gracious King. This year, the Protectorate of Brisbane has also generously donated some items to be raffled off. I hope everyone is looking forward to our winter gathering. I would like to share with you some of the wonderful items that will be in the raffle at our upcoming feast.
Same as last year, tickets will cost 1 silver per ticket or 1 gold for 12 tickets. We are allowing you to reserve tickets prior to the event to save you time once you arrive at feast. Once you get to the festivities, you may stop by the raffle table, pay for your reserved tickets, and then select your raffle choices. Reserving tickets should save time as they will be pre-portioned for you and have your name already printed on each ticket. The raffle ticket reservation requests will be accepted until Friday, February 6th at noon. You will also be able to purchase more tickets at the raffle tickets if you feel you would like more!
A reminder, please make sure to bring coin with you to the raffle table. Bank staff will be working during our festivities but they will not be staffing the raffle table.
I would again like to extend a thank you to Senator Augustus and the Protectorate of Brisbane for hosting our annual winter celebration this season. I look forward to see you at the upcoming festivities.
Baroness Arra D’Kalin

01.05 - Feast Fighter’s Tournament Rules:
2026 Feast Fighter’s Tournament Rules:
- Tournament Rules:
- Marshalls have final say on all rulings during the tournament. Arguing with a marshal may result in warnings and/or removal from the tournament.
- Contestants will compete against each other in bouts to earn points which will be used to calculate final scores and winners.
- Contestants will be chosen at random using a Swiss-style bracket based on current point values. This will match contestants with the most similar point values against one another.
- Contestants will call their own blows to the best of their abilities. In the event of a contested point, marshals will resolve the dispute. ,
- Points and Scoring:
- Bouts will be held in “best two of three” fashion
- To maintain a timely schedule, bouts will be limited to 5 minutes of action. This time will be paused between rounds and during rulings.
- A sound blow will be defined by intentional, uninterrupted contact to the valid target area via slash, thrust, or impact.
- Any part of the body is considered a valid target area except for illegal zones (head and groin) and null zones (hands holding a weapon and feet placed on the ground)
- Parried, deflected, and accidental contact do not count as sound blows
- Illegal Strikes: Illegal strikes can result in a warning; multiple illegal strikes may result in removal from the contest.
- Illegal strikes are:
-Blows to the head -Blows to the groin -A blow that is deemed harder than necessary to make positive contact
- Points will be scored using the “King’s Rules”
- A sound blow to a limb results in the “loss” of that limb, wherein the combatant may no longer use that limb
- Loss of a limb will pause and reset combat (to avoid confusion from continuous exchanges and ensure clean calls from marshals)
- A point is scored when a sound blow lands to the torso or when a combatant has lost two limbs
- In the event of simultaneous blows landing. (Simultaneous blows being hits struck by both combatants so close together that both marshals and combatants are unable to determine which landed first)
- Lethal and non-lethal: Lethal takes precedence and scores the point
- Both non-lethal: both combatants lose the limb in question and reset
- Both Lethal: Both combatants reset up to a max of once per bout. Beyond the first, both combatants score a point
- In the event of a tie by points for first place: Combatants in question will duel in a sudden death round where the first to score a clean point takes the win.
- Weapon Rules:
- Contestants will pick from a pool of preselected weapons to ensure fairness among weapon kits. Once a contestant has chosen a weapon kit they will be “locked” into that choice and cannot change weapons mid contest to prevent weapon advantages being utilized between bouts.
- Brackets:
- Brackets will be selected randomly using a swiss style bracketing. Contestants will be assigned opponents whose point values are most similar to their own.
- These brackets will be decided by an online bracketing tool to ensure impartiality
- In the event of an uneven number of contestants, a bye will be offered to the contestant with the least alike score to other contestants. Byes will yield 1 point of the potential 2 available from a bout.
A huge thank you to Andrew Chipotle and Atrum G Viscus for running this year's Fighter's Tournament!
01.03 - Court
Hello all,
The Feast Team hopes you are having a fantastic winter! We have a few announcements with some logistical information for the 2026 Kanar Feast happening on February 7th.
Due to all the activities we have planned, we have chosen to give players an extra hour of in‑game time. As such, the Feast event will now start at 1:00 pm, not the previously posted 2:00 pm. Players will be allowed to enter the site at 11:30 am for decoration setup, but will be asked to exit the main hall around 12:45 pm so that we can process all tickets and hand out items as people re‑enter as their characters. Some of the Feast Team will be doing a walkthrough of the site at 11:00 am with venue staff, so please do not enter the building before 11:30 unless directed by the Feast Team.
In past years, Feast has always had a somewhat in‑game/out‑of‑game vibe. This year, we are trying something a little different. The second floor of Cobblestone Farms will be 100% in‑character. If members or guests need to make a call, decompress, or have an out‑of‑game conversation, they are welcome to go to the first floor of the building or outside. If your character is at a location where travel to the Feast is too far away, they may use an Archmage to portal to Bannor Nogoth and back to their starting location. This service is provided free of charge by the Protectorate of Brisbane. If your character is dead or imprisoned, please reach out to Marcus so accommodations can be made.
While the event is in‑character and in continuity, mechanics will be off. This means no combat, spells, toxin mechanics, in‑game crafting, and etc. may take place. This is a time to relax, make deals, give a toast, and plan for the 2026 season.
We have hired a professional photographer for four hours of the Feast to capture events, group photos, and individual portraits. All pictures will be available to members after the event, free of charge. As such, we ask that you do not take photos or have your cellphones out on the second floor while the Feast is happening. During setup and teardown is fine.
Some rules for the event that are part of the venue rental agreement:
Hard liquor of any kind is prohibited on the premises of Cobblestone Farms and the surrounding Buhr Park. This includes the parking lot. If members or guests are discovered consuming or possessing hard liquor, Cobblestone Farms will terminate the event. If members are found with or consuming hard liquor by the Feast Team, you will be removed from the event and reported to the Board of Directors for further disciplinary steps.
Beer, wine, hard cider, and champagne are allowed to be brought in by members and guests. White Claw and other seltzers made without distilled spirits are also allowed. If you are unsure whether a seltzer contains distilled spirits, we highly recommend purchasing White Claw, as it is specifically listed as permitted in the rental contract.
Cobblestone Farms now has a barrier‑free lifting device, which serves as a passenger‑only elevator to assist guests who are unable to use the stairs. Nothing can be transported on this elevator other than two people at a time. Please only use this elevator if needed; nothing may accompany the people using it except strollers. There is now a zero‑tolerance policy for confetti, helium balloons, and glitter. The ban on glitter includes body glitter.
No animals are allowed, except for service animals.
The site is a non‑smoking/non‑vaping facility. Smoking and vaping are permitted only in designated outdoor areas and must be at least 20 feet from the building and outbuildings.
More information will be released this week about competitions and tournaments, so keep your eyes peeled. We look forward to having a memorable 2026 Feast and hope you’re getting excited!
— The Feast Team
