April Announcements (4.23)

04.23 - Dinner Break

Good morning members!

The GM staff would like to let you all know that during regular events on Saturdays between 6pm and 8pm, the GM staff will be taking a dinner break and will not be running combat encounters. This will also give those on field time to prepare and enjoy meals together or leave to get food. Roleplay encounters or modules may still be run given availability and scheduling. Thank you for your understand. Please remember to eat and hydrate!

04.23 - From the Desk of CBM1st

Hello everyone!
Going forward this season, we would like to remind all members to be sure to log your actual NPC time in your signout, regardless of what ticket you purchased.

If you purchased a ticket that does NOT have an NPC expectation but you still choose to NPC, please be sure to include this is your signout.

Also, if you purchase a ticket ($35) that DOES have an NPC expectation, please be sure, to best of your ability, that you fulfill this promise to the community.

We will be sending a report to the BOD after each event to allow for better statistics tracking.

All of that aside, we will see you on the field.

04.23 - From the Desk of CBM1st

Hello everyone!
Just your CBM crew here to let you know, with the exception to a few clarifications and the latest RPO Event XP, your character sheet updates for the March 2025 live event have been completed!
As always, if you find something of concern or issue or you didn't get an update, please feel free to reach out to us at cbm@kanar.club and I am sure we can work together to get it taken care of!
All of that aside, have a great rest of the week and we will see you all on-field soon!

04.22 - April Hype Post

As spring turns warm and boisterous, animals, monsters, and adventurers alike begin to disperse, searching for bounty. While the forests and fields awaken with bloom and green, The Great Swamp seems to slumber still, refusing to display its spring pageantry. This does not seem to deter the strange inhabitants that live there. Sightings of feathered long-legged reptiles rise with the temperature, along with other peculiar visions in the treeline that people have trouble explaining.

The pounding sound of marching soldiers echoes throughout the region as Generals receive their orders to move out. The time for goodbyes and well wishes is over. Families and friends wave and cry from city walls to their departing kin, not knowing if they will ever return. The sky is grim and heavy with dark clouds as they make their exit.

To the south, Nardmyr also reddies their forces, hell-bent on the defeat of their previous allies. But a new force moves to intercept them. Will their help be enough, or will they too become casualties of the battlefield?

Find out this weekend at the Kanar April event!

04.21 - Econ

From the Merchants Guild:

As we welcome the Spring here in Novashan, the bankers have prepared a list of changes to the merchant lists for items you may wish to buy or sell. Please visit the bankers in their normal shed to see the new price lists and learn of the changes. You may also speak with the kings merchant, Bennington Fallen, when he visits Ilveresh during the monthly festivals.

We look forward to working with you and sharing the changes, The Bank of Novashan
